Abstract: Studies on Detection of Doping with Anabolic SteroidsZhang Changjiu;Zhang Yinong;Liu Xin;Ye Li;Cui Kairong(National Research Institute of Sports Medicine,Beijing 100029,China)Received Abstract:In this paper the main metabolic pathway and characteristics of anabolic steroids in man and the detection methods of these substances in human urine by GC/MSD weredescribed with special emphasis to detecting the use of synthetic anabolic steroids such as testosterone,epitestosterone and dihydrotestosterone according to the effect of administration up on the system controlling their endogeneous secretion and the consequent alteration in the pattern of steroid excretion.Keywords:doping;steroids;GC/MSD;SIM detection
