Abstract: A series of platinum(II) terpyridyl complexes with phenolic ethynyl ligands were synthesized. A rapid method was applied to analyze platinum(II) terpyridyl complexes with phenolic ethynl ligands by electrospray ionization-tandem mass spectrometry (ESI-MSn). Fragmentation pattern was discussed.
