Abstract:
The Research of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Airborne Particulates by GC/MSLi Xiaoxia; Du Wenhu(Instrumental Analysis Research Center, Northwestern)University, Xian 710069, China)Abstract:A capillary column GC/MS combination technique has been developed and utilized to measure PAH in airborne particulate samples. The samples were collected on glass fiber filters. The filters were ultrosonic-extracted using CH2Cl2,and extractable matter was isolated on silica gel and sephadex LH-20 column chromatography. The PAH fraction was concentrated and injected into the GC/MS system. More than 46 PAHs were identified and 9 PAHs were quantitated in air sample.
