Abstract: Organic components in polyacrylonitrile(PAN) wastewater were extracted with chloroform. The extracts were analyzed by GC/MS after drying and concentration. The higher relative abundance was identified for low molecular weight nitriles, 2,2’-dithiobis-ethanol, tributyl phosphate and phthalates.
