Abstract: According ion source, ion trap mass spectrometry was divided into internal or external ion trap. For the ion source within the trap, internal ion trap mass spectrometry has many characteristics. The paper introduced the structure, principle, function and the application of internal ion trap coupled with gas chromatography in determination of pesticide in vegetables.
