Abstract: Recently, at the global level occurred in the animal feed or added to infant formula milk powder of melamine，resulting in the baby and pets suffering from kidney stones or events, which result that the problem of melamine cause for concerns. Melamine in samples with GC/MS derivatization method and application of different reagents for the derivatization reaction of melamine derivative methods were mentioned in this paper. Different derivatization reagents for derivatizations of the reaction of melamine are mad, and the merits and demerits of these methods to be summarized.
