Abstract: The Research Development of Laser Probe Combined with Mass Spectrometer Techniques on Isotope GeochmistryLiu Chi; Mu Zhiguo; Huang Baoling (Department of Geology, Peking University,Beijing 100871,China)Abstract:It has been reviewed about the latest development of laser probe analyses combined with the mass spectrometers and the applications in the field of isotope geochemistry.The results of δ18O and 40Ar/39Ar probe dating showed that a high precision isotope microanalysis in situ can be obtained with an ultraclean, ultrasensitive gas mass spectrometer.Keywords: laser probe, mass spectrmeter,δ~(18)O,~(40)Ar/~(39)Ar dating
