By silica gel thin-layer chromatography and flash chromatography, sterols wereseparated from the ensanponifiables. GC and GC/MS were used for analysis of acetylized sterols. According to the spectrum library searching, unscrambling and some references, the main peaks were investigated qualitatively.Keywords: Asparagus Officinalis L., sterols, GC/MS.
