Abstract: Micro-second Pulsed Glow Discharge Time-of-Flight Mass SpectrometerHang Wei; Yang Pengyuan;Yang Chenglong;Su Yongxuan;Wang Xiaoru;Huang Benli (Department of Chemistry, Xiamen University, Xiamen 361005,China) Abstract:A new system, micro-second pulsed glow discharge time-of-flight mass spectrometer,has been built up in our laboratory. The pulsed GD ion source has the characters of high ion production and working stability. It is suitable for direct analysis of metal in alloy. The instrument is the first homemade atmospheric pressure ionization mass spectrometer in our country, also the first micro-second pulsed GD source time-of-flight mass spectrometer in the world,which laid the foundation for the study and application of pulsed GD-TOFMS.
