Abstract: Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (SIMS) is a new analytical techniquefor labile, nonvolatile organic compounds. In this paper, apparatus of SIMS,preparation of sample, emision of secondary ion and application to analysisof peptides, amino acids, vitamins, medicines are reported.
